FST - Part-Time Apartment Grounds & Sanitation Porter – Daytime - Truck Required

To perform this role, you must have reliable transportation, including either your own open-bed pickup truck or a vehicle capable of towing a trailer along with the trailer itself.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dumpster areas, trash enclosures, and common spaces to keep communities clean and welcoming
• Compact and organize trash using company-provided equipment
• Handle recycling and compost materials according to procedures
• Remove debris, sweep areas, and complete general porter services
• Remove pet waste from designated areas using provided supplies
• Empty common-area trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Use our mobile app to track work, complete tasks, and confirm service
• Stay active by walking properties, climbing stairs, and working outdoors

Requirements

• Must personally own either (1) an open-bed pickup truck or (2) a vehicle paired with an open utility trailer used for the job (SUVs, sedans, and vans without an open bed or trailer do not qualify)
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance for the vehicle being used
• Must be 18 years or older
• Smartphone with a data plan to use our work app
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (proof required)
• Ability to work independently and follow a consistent routine

Physical Requirements

• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Walk long distances and climb multiple flights of stairs
• Operate a manual tamper to compact trash safely
• Work around trash, recycling, and waste
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay

$20 per hour

Schedule

• Part-time: 10–15+ hours per week
• Consistent daytime schedule, typically Sunday–Thursday or Wednesday–Sunday, starting around 6:00 AM (varies by market)
• Local work: Assigned apartment communities near where you live
