FSQA Technician 5 - All Shift - Nashville Plant

As a Quality Assurance Technician 5, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems to ensure compliance with high standards.
• Accurately document and calculate inspection results and report findings to management.
• Proactively take corrective actions by alerting appropriate personnel to adjust processes, and identifying, segregating, and isolating non-conforming products.
• Collaborate with team members and management to drive continuous improvement and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned to support overall operational success.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a FSQA role or other QA-related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in completing Tyson-specific paperwork.
• Leadership abilities to motivate hourly workforce.
• Strong problem identification and problem-solving skills.
• Solid math and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
• Ability to function well under stress.
• Flexibility to work in various locations and schedules as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Position involves heavy lifting (50 lbs. or more).
