About the role

Join our EY Assurance service line within the FSO (Financial Services Office) Labs team, where we develop advanced technologies in AI, automation, and data analytics for the financial services industry. You will join a group of experienced professionals with deep technology expertise and business understanding, bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and actionable audit technology.

Responsibilities

  • Work on developing and deploying AI-enabled solutions, working across multiple teams and industries to solve complex problems and improve audit efficiency and quality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, planning design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with enterprise integration design patterns, microservices design and development, and middleware platforms including integrations, or application programming interface (API).
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and deployment strategies.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing data structures for efficient data storage and retrieval in applications.
  • Minimum of 2 years of software development experience in Python, and frontend technologies (preferably Angular or React).
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems management, accounting, finance or a related field.

Skills

  • Integrate AI technologies to enhance audit service delivery and solve client challenges.
  • Build user-centered applications that combine business insights with technology expertise.
  • Develop software strategies based on industry trends and best practices.
  • Assess the AI and automation market and competitor landscape.
  • Design complex integration strategies and evaluate system integration initiatives.

Pay

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $76,600 to $126,300. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $91,800 to $143,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.

Schedule

Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
