Description
HCA Florida South Shore Hospital is seeking full-time Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team at their new Apollo Beach Free Standing Emergency Room. The new location opened in July 2025.
About the Role
Qualified candidates must be Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience. ABPS BCEM and Fellows considered based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients
- Triage and treat patients in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care continuity
- Participate in ongoing professional development and education
- Contribute to the growth and stability of the practice group
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- At least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Experience with ABPS BCEM and Fellowship status considered
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in the state of Florida
- Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME) exam
Skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and procedures
