Frozen Clerk

About the role

We’re looking for a reliable and energetic Frozen Department Clerk to help keep our frozen aisles organized, well-stocked, and running smoothly. In this role, you’ll be responsible for stocking and rotating frozen products, checking for freshness and quality, maintaining clean and appealing displays, and assisting customers with friendly service. You’ll also help manage inventory, maintain accurate orders, and ensure the department stays neat and efficient—even when it’s a little frosty. Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate frozen products
• Check products for freshness and quality
• Maintain clean and appealing displays
• Assist customers with friendly service
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate orders
• Keep the department neat and efficient

Qualifications

• Customer interaction skills: clear, helpful communication when assisting customers and answering questions
• Stocking & merchandising: experience placing products on shelves, facing items, and maintaining display standards
• Product knowledge: familiarity with store layout, pricing, and general merchandise across departments
• Attention to detail: accuracy in pricing, labeling, product rotation, and removing outdated items
• Organization & time management: managing multiple tasks while maintaining clean, organized work areas
• Inventory awareness: monitoring product levels and assisting with restocking and ordering processes
• Equipment use: handling tools such as pallet jacks, box cutters, or handheld devices following safety guidelines
• Adaptability: comfort moving between tasks, departments, and priorities throughout the shift
• Physical capability: comfort with standing and walking for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs., and working in varying environments including backroom and outdoor areas

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older (18 years of age or older, depending on role requirements)
• Prior retail, stocking, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to operate equipment such as pallet jacks, balers, and box cutters following training and safety guidelines
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
