Frontend Software Engineer Intern (Ads Measurement Signal and Privacy) - 2026 Summer (BS/MS)

Responsibilities

The Ads Measurement Signal and Privacy team (MSP) is tasked with building and maintaining the security and governance infrastructure for TikTok’s ads system. This includes integrating and managing various signals and data, ensuring compliance with global regulations, and implementing privacy-enhancing technologies. You will play a crucial role in data privacy, security, and cross-functional program management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate/Master in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, proficiency in at least one coding language (e.g., Go, JavaScript, Java, C++).
• Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong ownership, curiosity towards new technologies, and outstanding problem-solving abilities.
• Working experience in the ad domain is preferred.
• Experience with measurement technologies like Web/App tracking, SKAN, PCM, MMP, and Privacy Sandbox is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Build various products to handle signal integration, management, and insights using both in-house solutions and third-party data partner integrations.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and future-proof tech foundations for data collection and data quality management.
• Work with cross-functional teams (product, data science, UX, compliance) to continuously improve comprehensive measurement.
• Lead and manage the development of products and processes to address urgent business needs.
• Identify, explore, and implement cutting-edge measurement technologies.

Job Information

[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern: The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $45-$60. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and more. They receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 if hired in the second half of the year).
