Frontend Software Engineer

Piper Companies is seeking a Remote Frontend Software Engineer to join a leading organization in the network simulation and networking technology industry. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong Vue.js expertise, deep JavaScript knowledge, and an understanding of networking concepts who enjoys developing scalable, high-performance user interfaces for network visualization, configuration, and orchestration tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance modern web applications used to visualize, manage, and configure complex virtual network environments.
• Create responsive, high-performance user interfaces using Vue.js and vanilla JavaScript.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and real-time data into frontend applications.
• Optimize application performance and usability across large-scale network topologies and datasets.
• Contribute to reusable component libraries and maintain frontend development best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise with Vue.js.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and infrastructure.
• Experience building scalable web applications and consuming RESTful APIs.

Pay

Salary range: $75,000–$105,000.
