Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

Altamira Technologies seeks a Frontend Software Engineer to support the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC) customer. You will bridge the gap between design and implementation, translating UI/UX designs from the designer and product owner into maintainable code within existing applications, ensuring a high level of frontend polish and championing performant UI implementations. You will partner directly with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross‑functional engineers to clarify functional and non‑functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate UI/UX designs into maintainable frontend code.
• Ensure high level of frontend polish and performant UI implementations.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and cross‑functional engineers to clarify requirements.

Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience with Cesium and Angular.
• Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Docker, git, PrimeNG.
• Nice‑to‑have: ElasticSearch, Node.js, Docker Swarm, GitLab CI/CD, Python, Kibana, Prometheus, Grafana, Traefik.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or similar) from an accredited college or university.
• At least 4 years of experience in Software Engineering.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
