Frontend Engineer - Music

About the role

The Rights Systems team builds and operates Spotify Rights Center (SRC), a rights management platform for music labels, publishers, and other rightsholders. SRC supports new formats like video and manages content across creator- and artist-generated music.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Spotify Rights Center web application
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences
• Develop complex workflows for managing rights and disputes
• Integrate frontend systems with multiple backend services
• Design and evolve APIs to support the product
• Contribute to product discovery and ideation
• Support a collaborative team environment

Requirements

• Experience building modern web applications using TypeScript and React
• Comfortable managing complex application state and data flows
• Experience integrating frontend systems with APIs
• Understanding of designing responsive interfaces
• Experience with enterprise or B2B applications
• Experience with complex workflows, permissions, and large datasets
• High-quality code writing and validation using modern testing approaches
• Ownership of solutions from requirements through deployment and iteration

Pay

• The United States base range for this position is $133,000 –$190,000 USD, plus equity.
