This role is focused on developing modern web applications and delivering high-quality web experiences based on the company's mobile products. The ideal candidate will have experience with Next.js web application development and a strong understanding of application design and development. The role also provides opportunities to contribute to deployment and operational phases of the software development lifecycle. ### Key Responsibilities * Lead the design and implementation of modern web experiences.* Translate mobile product features into high-quality web experiences with strong user experience.* Contribute to the technical strategy and long-term vision for the web platform.* Define and promote engineering standards and development best practices.* Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical leadership across the team.* Manage technical debt and promote maintainable, high-quality code.* Lead architectural improvements and the ongoing evolution of the web platform.* Participate in deployment and operational phases of the software development lifecycle.* Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable web applications. ### Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.* 3+ years of software development experience.* Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership.* Strong expertise with React and Next.js or Remix.* Experience with modern web build tools.* Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.* Strong understanding of modern web application development and architecture. ### Technology Stack * React* Next.js* TypeScript* Tailwind CSS* Turborepo and modern build tools* Cypress* React Testing Library* Jest* Node.js* Express* Kotlin* REST APIs* AWS ### Compensation Greenlight uses a market-based compensation approach, with pay varying based on location, experience, and skill set. Total compensation may include a discretionary performance bonus, equity rewards, medical benefits, 401(k) matching, and other benefits.
