About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Frontend Engineer to join our team remotely from anywhere in the United States. This pivotal role involves leading the development of advanced user interfaces and experiences for our AI platform, which focuses on managing and optimizing enterprise AI services, including token spend, model orchestration, cost controls, and security governance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native development, with a passion for creating seamless, responsive, and intuitive user experiences. You will collaborate closely with product teams, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers to build innovative solutions that enable organizations to securely scale their AI adoption while maintaining visibility, compliance, and budget control. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent field
• Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience working with high-scale distributed systems and cloud-native application development
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles
• Experience with front-end performance optimization tools and techniques
• Proficiency with build tools such as Webpack and package management systems

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams and UI/UX designers to develop engaging and interactive user experiences that enhance usability and functionality
• Create effective user experience workflows and interactions, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues in partnership with back-end developers, analyzing logs and code to identify root causes and implementing timely fixes
• Optimize front-end performance through techniques such as code splitting, lazy loading, and resource compression, continuously monitoring metrics for improvements
• Integrate AI-powered features such as chat interfaces, copilots, and conversational AI, leveraging AI/ML APIs and streaming inference responses
• Lead efforts in building scalable, maintainable, and high-performance front-end solutions for enterprise AI platforms
• Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry best practices, applying them to enhance platform capabilities
