Frontend Developer (Remote)

About the role

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Frontend Engineer to work on a contract basis. This role involves developing and maintaining user interfaces using modern web technologies. The position requires expertise in building responsive and accessible web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize frontend components using React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks.
• Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to implement UI/UX designs and integrate APIs.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices and performance standards.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions for scalable frontend solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend-related issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and responsive design.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React with a strong understanding of component-based architecture.
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar.
• Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS/LESS and CSS-in-JS solutions.
• Knowledge of frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Next.js.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Cypress, or React Testing Library.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex frontend issues.
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
