Frontend Developer

Location: Durham, North Carolina. Job type: Contract. Work hours: 8am to 4pm. Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Frontend Expertise: 7+ years of professional software development experience with a strong focus on modern frontend technologies including React, TypeScript, JavaScript ES6, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
• Framework Mastery: Deep hands-on experience building enterprise-scale applications with React.js; Next.js is a plus or Angular.
• Full-Stack Competency: Demonstrated ability to work across the stack with solid experience integrating with Node.js, Python, or Java backend services (Spring), relational databases, and cloud infrastructure (Oracle).
• AI Tool Proficiency: Proven experience utilizing modern AI coding assistants and LLM tools in a professional development environment to enhance productivity, code quality, and debugging.
• Performance Testing: Strong knowledge of state management libraries, frontend build tools (Webpack, Vite), and testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library).

Pay

Hourly rate: $40–50 per hour. Final pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
