About the role
We are partnering with a highly funded, rapidly growing cybersecurity venture based in San Jose, California. This is a full-time, 5 days/week onsite role where you will play a critical part in shaping the user experience of a high-performance enterprise platform.
Core Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and optimize scalable, component-driven front-end applications utilizing modern React and TypeScript.
- Responsive Architecture>Deliver seamless, highly responsive layouts tailored perfectly for diverse form factors, ranging from mobile displays to massive enterprise monitors.
- Design System Collaboration>Partner closely with UI/UX designers to convert high-fidelity wireframes into modular, reusable components and maintain a robust design language.
- API Integration>Connect front-end interfaces with GraphQL APIs, focusing heavily on efficient state management, data caching, and rendering performance.
- Cross-Functional Delivery>Coordinate with backend engineering and DevOps teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure production deployments.
- Technical Leadership>Drive engineering excellence through constructive code reviews, comprehensive technical documentation, and mentoring team members on front-end best practices.
Qualifications & Expertise
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of dedicated front-end/UI engineering experience in a commercial environment (7+ years highly preferred).
- Core Stack: Advanced proficiency with React and TypeScript, backed by a deep understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), semantic HTML5, and advanced CSS3.
- Data & State Management: Practical experience managing complex application state using tools like Apollo Client, Redux, or similar frameworks.
- Performance Optimization: Proven track record of debugging complex client-side issues and optimizing web applications for maximum speed and rendering efficiency.
- Modern Workflow: Habitual use of Git version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and agile development methodologies.
Bonus Technical Assets
- A strong design sensibility with hands-on experience utilizing Figma or similar design tools.
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity.
- Golang/Go experience.
- Direct exposure to cloud infrastructure architectures (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Deep technical expertise in GraphQL schema design and query optimization.
