At InterContinental The Clement Monterey, exceptional guest experiences begin with exceptional people. We are seeking an energetic, service-oriented Front Office Supervisor to lead our Front Office team in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Director of Rooms and Front Office leadership team to oversee the daily operations of the Front Office while ensuring every guest receives personalized, genuine hospitality from arrival through departure.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Front Office Agents.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns with professionalism.
- Act as Manager on Duty as assigned.
- Support daily Front Office operations, including check-in/check-out, reservations, guest requests, and lobby presence.
- Train and develop team members while promoting InterContinental service standards.
- Monitor scheduling, labor costs, cash handling, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with all hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Support departmental projects, meetings, and hotel initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of hotel supervisory experience, preferably within Front Office or Guest Services.
- Outstanding guest service and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality or Business Management degree.
- Prior luxury hotel experience.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills.
- Hospitality leadership or emotional intelligence training.
