About the role
We are looking for an energetic candidate for a growing private outpatient practice. Duties include providing overall administrative management and coordination of office operations and personnel in the physician's office, ensuring the office carries out the overall objectives, mission, and goals of the organization.
Responsibilities
- To provide overall administrative management and coordination of office operations and personnel in the physician's office.
- To ensure the office carries out the overall objectives, mission, and goals of the organization.
- To answer phones, schedule, emails, insurance verifications, procedure scheduling, meetings and authorizations.
- To manage all day-to-day operations of the office and resolve operational issues.
- To supervise assigned personnel overseeing scheduling and timekeeping records.
- To interview and coordinate the hiring process and oversee training of medical practice staff.
- To oversee patient flow and address patient billing issues and patient complaints.
Requirements
- Experience: Three to five years of supervisory experience in a medical office setting.
- Must have some knowledge and experience working with medical billing systems.
- Human resource experience with handling day-to-day patient and employees concerns.
Qualifications
- Licensure/Certification/Registration Requirements: If working as a Medical Assistant, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistance Course preferred. A high school diploma, college diploma, and/or practice management certification with experience in medical management will be preferred.
Skills
- Detail-oriented and a team player.
- CMA or MA will be performing duties based on their license and training with additional responsibilities as below.

- 10 hour shift.

Education
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
Experience
- Medical office: 4 years (Preferred).
- Medical Office Front desk: 4 years (Preferred).
- Front desk Supervisor: 2 years (Preferred).
- NextGen EMR: 2 years (Preferred).
