About the role
The Front Office Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and assisting them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handling guest reservations and confirming appointments
- Managing room status and availability
- Processing payments and handling cash transactions
- Responding to guest inquiries and complaints
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a hospitality or customer service role
- Proficiency in using hotel management systems
