About the role
Join us at Hotel Teatro, Denver's original boutique hotel, located in the vibrant Theater District. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to lead our team and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries regarding hotel information and guest concerns.
- Supervise the daily operations of the Guest Services personnel.
- Facilitate guest check-in and check-out processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely guest account closures.
- Maintain good guest relations by answering questions and concerns promptly.
- Operate PBX equipment and manage cash transactions.
- Provide guest transportation and recommend local attractions.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory control.
- Implement emergency training and procedures.
- Coordinate with valet services and airport connections.
- Assist with scheduling and training new hires.
- Participate in safety committee meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum two years previous experience as a front desk supervisor or minimum of four years front office experience.
- Total understanding of all hotel front office procedures.
- Working knowledge of guest services and hotel operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Ability to read and write, understand and follow verbal/written instructions.
- Highly organized and attentive to detail.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
- Excellent comprehension and literacy.
- Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures and computerized cash register systems.
- Experience dealing directly with the public.
- High school graduate level mathematical aptitude.
- Fluent in oral and written English.
- Ability to handle stressful and emotionally charged situations.
- Highly organized and able to pay attention to minute details.
Skills
- Tact and understanding when dealing with customers.
- Customer service skills.
- Computer skills, including familiarity with hotel software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Pay
USD $60,000.00 - USD $70,000.00 /Yr.
