Front Office Host | Full-Time

About the role

The Role At Hyatt, we believe our guests select Hyatt because of our caring and attentive associates who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful experiences. Thompson Hosts (Front Office Host) are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires. You'll be the face of Thompson as a Thompson Host.

Responsibilities

• Process guest check-in and registration
• Communicate hotel services and promotions
• Respond to guest inquiries
• Handle forms of payment
• Engage in casual conversations with guests

Qualifications

• A friendly and welcoming demeanor
• Previous customer service experience required
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Refined verbal and written communication skills
• A desire to exceed guest expectations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• An understanding of authentic hospitality and care
• Work cohesively with colleagues as part of a team
