Job Summary
A multifaceted role designed to support the clinical staff and the department in general. Requires flexibility to move between the various aspects of the role to ensure continuity of support.
Responsibilities
- Greeting patients and answering general extension of the BI
- Serving as a primary receptionist
- Obtaining orders for procedures
- Completing correspondence as needed
- Obtaining insurance cards for registration
- Maintaining flow of patients to registration
- Obtaining history as needed for Mammography
- Preparing Daily Diagnostic Schedule
- Preparing CD’s and faxing reports as needed
- Ensuring prior imaging procedures from outside facilities have been obtained and uploaded prior to the patient’s current appointment
- Uploading outside images and preparing records for comparison
- Reviewing portal to ensure completion of patient history and assessment prior to patient exam
Qualifications
- High School Graduate / GED
- No Travel Required
