About the role

Gold Creek Salmon Bake is a seasonal buffet restaurant located in Juneau, AK, seeking personable front of house team members to finish out the rest of the season, ending in mid-October. This is a truly unique dining experience surrounded by rainforest, located next to a creek with a waterfall nearby. As a buffet style restaurant, a front of house team member plays an important role in the setup, maintenance, and closing down of various stations throughout the property. There are also a number of other tasks and projects that take place throughout the normal day, making this a good fit for someone who likes to wear many hats.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and close down various stations throughout the property
• Handle various tasks and projects that occur throughout the normal day

Requirements

• Willingness to work on uneven rocky ground
• Comfortable working in rain and colder weather
• Not bothered by squirrels and crows that often visit the dining areas
• Team-player who enjoys work

Pay & Schedule

• $16/hr plus tips
• 40-60 hour work weeks until mid-September, then slowing to 20-30 hours
• Housing provided at $16/day
• Eligible for up to a 10% bonus upon contract completion
