About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, guest-focused Front of House team member. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who can balance hospitality with accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service: task pivot and converse with customers
• Engage in active selling and promotion of products
• Help direct customers around the store and menu
• Maintain excellent product knowledge
• Produce all food and beverage items precisely according to Elephant's recipes
• Proper use of equipment as specified by Manager and/or trainer
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Cross-train in various FOH roles
• Reinforce service, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Monitor workflow and pace during peak hours
• Address guest concerns with professionalism and urgency

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience (food service or hospitality experience highly preferred)
• Barista experience preferred but not required
• Current Oregon Food Handler's card & Current OLCC Permit
• A genuine passion for hospitality and team development
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented under pressure
• High standards for cleanliness, safety, and operational excellence
• Reliability, accountability, and a collaborative mindset

Pay

$21.80 - $23.80/hour ($16.80/hour + tips, which average an additional $5-$7/hour)

Schedule

This is a full-time position that requires weekend availability and some holidays.
