About the role
The Front of House Dining Manager at Solera Senior Living is responsible for leading the dining room service team and ensuring residents receive warm, attentive, and professional hospitality during each dining experience. This role supports daily dining operations, service standards, team training, scheduling, and overall dining room presentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support front-of-house dining team members to deliver excellent service.
- Oversee dining room service, setup, cleanliness, presentation, and overall ambiance.
- Ensure team members follow service etiquette, hospitality standards, safety guidelines, and food handling practices.
- Support scheduling, training, onboarding, and ongoing development of dining staff.
- Partner closely with the culinary team to ensure smooth communication between the dining room and kitchen.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and service-focused presence with residents, families, guests, and team members.
- Assist with special events, private dining, community functions, and resident programming as needed.
- Monitor resident satisfaction and respond to questions, concerns, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, dining services, senior living, or a related service environment preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills.
- Ability to train, motivate, and hold team members accountable to service standards.
- Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful experiences for seniors and their families.
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, or senior living dining is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position.
