About the role

Waste Connections is hiring a Front Load Garbage Truck Driver at its Pflugerville, TX location. The role involves driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste from commercial customers and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. This is a physically demanding outdoor position performed in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive a front‑load garbage truck servicing commercial customers on assigned routes.
• Collect solid waste and transport it to designated disposal facilities.

Requirements

• Class A or B CDL.
• 3+ years of CDL‑qualified driving experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Prior front‑load garbage truck experience.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, with a 1 a.m. or 3 a.m. start time, typically an 11+ hour day.
• Every other Saturday, typically 5–6 hours.
