Front End Supervisor

About the role

Lunds & Byerlys Glen Lake is hiring a part‑time Front End Supervisor to create a sensational shopping experience. The position is part‑time with a competitive wage range of $16.50–$20.50 per hour. The store operates 7 days a week, 6:00 am–10:00 pm, and scheduled shifts may fall between 6:00 am and 11:00 pm.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Supervising and assisting front‑end operations including scanning items, entering pricing data, processing payment, packaging groceries, and resolving checkout concerns
• Assisting the manager in coaching, training, mentoring, and leading team members to accomplish department and personal goals

Requirements

• Food safety certification or ability to obtain and maintain it
• 2 or more years of previous retail or food service experience (desired)
• Previous supervisory experience (desired)
• Computer skills: Outlook, Excel, Word

Pay

Competitive wage range: $16.50 – $20.50 per hour. The actual rate offered within the range may depend on skills, knowledge, expertise, and experience; internal equity is considered and hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Schedule

Part‑time schedule with shifts ranging from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm; store open 6:00 am–10:00 pm, 7 days per week.
