About the Role

Front End Supervisors are responsible for creating an exceptional customer service and employee experience by managing all front-end company activities. This ensures entrances operate in a secure, clean, safe, welcoming, and compliant manner.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with a focus on exceptional, fast, friendly, and accurate service.
  • Manage daily front-end operations to meet established goals, providing updates and recommendations to the Assistant Manager and Store Manager.
  • Provide direction and guidance to team members to uphold Company standards and foster a strong team environment.
  • Enforce store policies, security measures, and customer service standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to drive sales growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Train and coach front-end team members to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Schedule team members effectively.
  • Respond to customer concerns in a manner consistent with store expectations.
  • Comply with and enforce safety and health standards, including safe food handling practices.
  • Maintain high hygiene standards on conveyor belts and throughout the front-end area.
  • Identify, correct, and report unsafe conditions to prevent accidents.
  • Review and suggest process improvements for the front end in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Minimize shrinkage through proper product handling.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and all applicable regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining focus on store/departmental goals.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships.
  • Knowledge of supervisory and training principles, including planning, organizing, and supervising staff tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills for complex issues.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent communication skills (email, phone, text, and in-person) with coworkers and customers.
  • Flexibility to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
  • Basic computer skills and software management.
  • Knowledge of and experience complying with safety principles, practices, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a management role within the retail industry, including supervisory experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily indoor work in an office setting, involving extended periods of sitting, operating office equipment, and requiring eye-hand coordination and finger dexterity.
  • Lifting and carrying objects up to 25 pounds.
  • Extended periods of standing, walking, and/or sitting.
