Responsibilities
- Work as a part of a team to design, develop, test, deploy, document, maintain, and enhance web applications and user facing web applications based upon documented requirements.
- Review and test software components for adherence to the design requirements and to document test results.
- Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
- Provide specific input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Open-Source Software (OSS) and/or Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Government Off-The-Shelf (GOTS) software in place of new development.
- Perform requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components.
Requirements
- Experience using the Linux CLI.
- Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes.
- Recent software development experience using front end technologies such as VueJS, ReactJS, Angular, node, npm and other front end toolkits and frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI.
- Experience with Git Source Control System.
Nice to Have
- Experience with containerization principles and tools such as Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes.
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence).
