Front End Engineer, AWS Agentic AI Automated Reasoning (AR)

About the role

We are building exciting new capabilities in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Agentic AI Automated Reasoning group by using Automated Reasoning in new, novel and exciting ways to enhance AWS services. The position is based in Seattle, Washington or New York City, New York.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of the agent safety platform, including policy authoring, policy management, policy audit and agent simulation.
• Deliver agent safety experience in products where customers create agents today, e.g., Kiro, Quick, other agentic platforms.
• Develop and operate the area Mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical design reviews, and raise the bar on engineering practices across the team.

Requirements

• 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
• 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
• Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications: 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
• Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node

Pay

Base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.

• USA, NY, New York - 158,100.00 - 213,800.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, Seattle - 143,700.00 - 194,400.00 USD annually
