Front end Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced, senior-level UI Engineer for a dynamic contract engagement. In this role, you will split your time between critical, customer-facing e-commerce applications (powering major high-visibility initiatives like "same-day delivery" and "standard plus shipping") and highly functional internal portals used daily by our Product Managers and supply chain vendors. The ideal candidate is a seasoned frontend specialist with deep, expert-level expertise in Ember.js who thrives in collaborative, cross-functional environments and actively leverages modern AI development tools to accelerate delivery.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional frontend/UI engineering experience, with a proven track record as a senior or lead engineer.
• Expert-level mastery of Ember.js is non-negotiable, as it comprises the vast majority of the day-to-day architecture.
• Solid working knowledge or exposure to Node.js.
• Strong conceptual and working understanding of Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture to ensure smooth frontend-to-backend integration.
• Partner with multiple internal teams to coordinate, implement, and track A/B testing configurations to optimize customer-facing applications.
• Hands-on experience embedding AI development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) into your daily coding workflow.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience setting up and managing experiments via Optimizely.
• Prior experience in the E-commerce, Retail, or Supply Chain technology sectors.

Pay
