Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loading trucks and hydraulic fork systems to lift and empty commercial waste containers across the High Point area
• Navigate local commercial sites, business parks, and tight urban spaces efficiently
• Represent GFL by delivering friendly, dependable service to commercial business partners
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety and performance
• Communicate with dispatchers and operations teams to address route challenges in real time

Requirements

• Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience (front-load, waste industry, or heavy vehicle experience preferred)
• Comfortable operating joystick controls and hydraulic lifting mechanisms in varied environments
• Strong commitment to safety guidelines, vehicle maintenance, and road regulations
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and frequently enter/exit the cab

Schedule

Full-time, early morning shifts with local routes based in High Point, NC. Overtime potential available.
