Responsibilities

• Operate commercial front-load, roll-off, or ancillary waste equipment along assigned commercial and multi-family residential routes.
• Safely maneuver trucks into tight clearance spaces, alleyways, and customer sites using mirrors and back-up procedures.
• Mechanically collect solid waste or recyclables and transport materials safely to post-collection facilities, landfills, or transfer stations.
• Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete Vehicle Condition Reports (VCR).
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch and provide courteous service to local business customers along your route.
• Follow all federal, state, and company safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout procedures and proper PPE protocols.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL - Class A or Class B).
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience (or CDL school certification equivalent).
• Preferred: Prior waste industry experience (Front-End, Rear-End, or Roll-Off operating experience).
• Clean driving record and ability to meet safety-sensitive position criteria.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and physically maneuver containers/corral doors as needed.
• Proficiency operating manual/automatic commercial equipment and navigating local routes using GPS/maps.

Pay

Competitive & Negotiable Pay: Starting at $28.00+/hour, customized to reflect your commercial driving and waste industry experience.
