Front end Developer (Angular, Python) - Vice President
Citi is seeking a highly motivated hands-on front-end developer to work as an Angular–Python Lead in the Wholesale Credit Risk Technology team that serves Institutional Credit Management (ICM). The role is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team, leading applications systems analysis and programming activities.
About the role
The candidate will be a core member of the technology team, partnering with onshore and offshore teams to design and deliver innovative technology solutions for the front office and Credit Risk Business. This is an excellent opportunity to immerse in and learn within the Wholesale Credit Risk Division while gaining exposure to business and technology initiatives that maintain Citi’s lead position among competitors.
Responsibilities
- Research and resolve complex issues, escalating as appropriate
- Lead hands-on development of enterprise-scale, highly componentized applications using Angular, Python, and FastAPI
- Work with CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, and other containerized platforms
- Collaborate effectively with development teams and communicate progress to the Project Lead
- Work with developers across onshore, offshore, and matrix teams to implement business solutions
- Investigate possible bug scenarios and production support issues
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience building enterprise-scale applications using Angular, Python, and FastAPI
- Experience with Angular and the latest front-end frameworks
- Experience developing applications in the Financial Services industry (preferred)
- Recent experience integrating with Gen AI implementations (preferred)

Pay
$125,760.00 – $188,640.00 annual salary.
