About the role

Responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, embodying customer‑experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to all operational, merchandise, and loss‑prevention standards and may be cross‑trained to work in multiple areas of the store to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Role‑model established customer‑experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases/returns and count change back to the customer according to established operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy; follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day.
• Maintain all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and assist with overall store cleanliness.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink‑reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Retail customer‑experience preferred.

Pay

This position has a starting pay range of $13.50 to $14.00 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
