Front Desk/ Universal Agent Associate- Sports Illustrated Resort- Chicago

About the role

The Universal Agent Ambassador greets all guests in the lobby, maintains lobby traffic flow, offers general concierge services, and provides backup to Universal Agents.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, manage lobby traffic, and maintain flow to reduce wait times.
• Complete check-out procedures, compute bills, collect payment, and make change for guests.
• Display high levels of customer service and professionalism when interacting with guests.
• Enter guest issues into WYNSOS program and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Clean and restock front desk area, stock amenities, assign units, print emergency reports, and update team on any changes.
• Communicate with other departments via telephone and two-way radio to resolve guest requests and complaints.
• Distribute guest and staff mail and messages as necessary.
• Balance cash receipts and perform bucket checks.
• Receive and distribute guest and staff mail and messages as necessary.
• Communicate with other departments via telephone and two-way radio to resolve guest requests and complaints.
• Provide general concierge services, deliver information on local hot spots and activities, make, confirm, and cancel reservations, and provide information on upcoming tours.
• Prepare paperwork and arrival information for guests scheduled to arrive and for future arrivals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of successful customer service experience in a hospitality/hotel environment.
• Vacation ownership experience preferred.

Skills

• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Microsoft programs knowledge.

Pay

$25.00 - $26.00 per hour plus commissions and bonuses.
