Front Desk / Security / Driver - On Call, all shifts

About the role

This Front Desk On Call position is responsible for answering and transferring all incoming calls courteously, providing information, direction, and assistance to residents, staff, guests, and vendors. You will maintain a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, and staff while protecting Community property. The role includes verifying the presence of employees and third-party contractors, performing clerical duties, and assisting in the day-to-day operation of the Concierge department to ensure community safety.

As a Driver, you will transport residents to activities, functions, and medical appointments in a timely and safe manner. On-call shifts include 8am–4pm, 4pm–midnight, or midnight–8am.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the front desk, securing files, keys, and equipment.
• Transport residents to scheduled activities and appointments.
• Communicate messages, payments, reservations, appointments, and cancellations to appropriate parties.
• Confirm scheduled transportation and event registrations with residents.
• Greet and assist residents, visitors, staff, and vendors courteously to present a positive image of the Community.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Report for duty during emergencies or natural disasters as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Michigan Driver License.
• Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification.
• Proficiency in various computer applications.

Pay

$20.50 per hour

Schedule

• Day or night shift
• Weekend availability
• On-call as needed (8am–4pm, 4pm–midnight, or midnight–8am)
