Front Desk Representative

The Front Desk Representative position is a unique opportunity for a customer service focused individual who wants to make a difference in the behavioral health field by ensuring seamless access to services and acting as the first impression of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Greets, registers, updates demographic information, verifies insurance eligibility & collects copays from patients.
- Answers telephones, screens and directs calls, and/or takes and relays messages.
- Receives & distributes mail, faxes, packages and any other correspondence.
- Responds to inquiries and communicates agency and program information to interested parties.
- Maintains visitor access, waiting area and monitors security awareness.
- Books appointments and facilitates scheduling changes and cancellations.
- Maintains office supplies and prepares orders for approval.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a related field is preferred.
- Experience with Excel, Word, and electronic health records is preferred.
Pay
The pay range listed for this position is $18.50 – $22.55 per hour. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors including seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
Schedule
Full time, 40 hours, Monday – Friday (business hours).
