Job Description: Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English/Spanish) Location: Miramar, FL (Onsite) Pay: $15.00 per hour Are you a friendly, organized professional who enjoys helping patients and thrives in a fast-paced medical office? We're seeking a Bilingual Medical Receptionist (English/Spanish) to serve as the first point of contact for patients while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. What You'll Do Welcome patients and visitors with a professional, friendly attitude.Check patients in and out for appointments.Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, referrals, and authorizations.Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR).Collect co-pays, balances, and self-pay payments.Schedule follow-up appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently.Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions or direct calls appropriately.Scan and upload patient documentation into the EMR.Fax clinical notes to referring physicians as needed.Communicate scheduling updates with providers and office management.Maintain office supplies and support daily front office operations.Complete end-of-day closing responsibilities.Assist with training new front desk team members as needed. Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).High school diploma or equivalent.1-2 years of customer service or medical front office experience preferred.Experience verifying medical insurance and obtaining referrals/authorizations.Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and Microsoft Outlook.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to remain professional and effectively resolve patient concerns in a busy office environment.
