FRONT DESK DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answering and responding to phone calls.
- Referring new patients to intake.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments.
- Verifying Insurance and entering structured data.
- Scanning documents to patient’s medical records.
- Checking patients in and out.
- Collecting co-pays, deductibles, co-insurances, and past due balances.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients, employees, and vendors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of customer service experience
SKILLS AND BEHAVIORS
- Medical office experience
- Customer service experience
- Experience on the phone with customers
- Experience using an EMR
- Office management experience
- Experience using computers and software
