Job Duties

  • Provide good customer service to both internal and external customers;
  • Maintain positive and effective working relationships with other City employees (especially members of their own team), and have regular and reliable attendance that is non-disruptive.

Answer Phone Calls

  • Answer phone calls and redirect them to the concerned people effectively;
  • Record complaints, problems, queries and providing suitable answers and assistance for the same.

Receive Packages and Assist with Registrations

  • Receive postal, courier packages addressed to the employees of the organization and sending them to the addressed person correctly;
  • Aid with registrations for sports, pavilions, memberships, rentals, and trash bags.

Schedule Practices and Maintain Member Database

  • Schedule practices for sports as called in;
  • Aid with registrations for sports, pavilions, memberships, rentals, and trash bags.
  • Maintain a clean front desk and lobby to provide a pleasant atmosphere for patrons.

Enforce Rules and Maintain Atmosphere

  • Enforce and interpret Recreation Center rules to provide a safe, orderly, and family-friendly environment for all patrons.

Closing Out Register

  • Responsible for closing out and balancing register.

Other Duties

  • May be required to work weekends for special program events and tournaments;
  • Complete daily tasks as assigned, such as cleaning, inventory, etc.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A high school diploma, or relevant experience;
  • Must be proficient in the use of telephones, personal computer, and Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to utilize both internal and external resources to obtain information and data necessary to carry out routine assignments and special projects;
  • Must have ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.

Supplemental Information

  • Must successfully pass criminal background check, including but not limited to convictions, guilty pleas, or no contest pleas to violent offenses, theft offenses, and offenses against children.
  • This position is not eligible for benefits.
