About the role
Silver is an upscale polished casual restaurant featuring flavors from around the world. We offer fresh sustainable ingredients from over 15 local farm partners. We are looking for Front Desk Coordinators who are contagious in their friendliness, warmth, and energy to be the face of our brand to the guests.
Responsibilities
- Ensure every Guest receives a contagiously warm welcome to Silver
- Seated at a sparkling clean table in a speedy and efficient manner
- Introduced to the company's philosophy
- Cleans, organizes and stocks supplies needed at Front Desk
- Manages Call Ahead in coordination with walk-in for wait list
- Quotes wait time to guests when tables are not immediately available
- Occasionally pre-bus tables to allow for quick turn around time
- Interacts with guests in and as they leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience
- Maintains a clean Front Desk area to Silver standards
- Answer the phone within 3 rings using standard greeting
- Complete all assigned side work
- Work as part of a team, communicating clearly and constructively
- Brand Delivery: Be on time for work, maintain a positive, fun-oriented attitude to your work, keep yourself, your uniform and your station sparkling clean at all times, strictly follow all uniform standards, know and ensure delivery of the Silver Brand
- Cost Balancing: Maintain clean menus, notify management of any worn menus and replaces them
- Perform any additional duties or tasks as reasonably assigned by managers
Qualifications
- Excellent English communication skills
- Neat appearance reflective of the Brand
- Exceptional aptitude for Guest Hospitality
- Enthusiastic
- Able to think and act quickly while maintaining self-composure
- Energetic
- Able to multi-task
- Pleasant speaking voice and phone etiquette
- Contagiously friendly, outgoing and energetic
- Able to organize
- Able to meet all schedule requirements
Skills
- Knowledge of all conversations of service, able to answer guest questions about the menu and restaurant
- Ability to manage call ahead and wait list
- Ability to quote wait time and pre-bus tables
- Ability to interact with guests before and after their meal
- Ability to maintain a clean front desk area
- Ability to answer the phone within 3 rings
- Ability to complete assigned side work
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to deliver the Silver Brand
- Ability to perform cost balancing
- Ability to perform additional duties as reasonably assigned

Pay
Earn Over $15 per hour!
Schedule
Full time and part time positions available. Weekends and holiday availability is required for this position.
