Front Desk Coordinator
About the role
Careerscape is supporting a client opening for a Remote Entry-Level Front Desk Coordinator. This role focuses on providing virtual front desk support, managing incoming communications, scheduling appointments, coordinating administrative tasks, and ensuring a professional experience for clients and internal teams. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, customer-focused, and interested in building a career in office administration, customer service, or business operations.
Compensation
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $75,000 per year, based on experience, communication skills, organizational abilities, and client hiring needs. Additional compensation and benefits details will be shared during the hiring process.
What you'll do
- Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and chat inquiries
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and virtual conferences
- Welcome and assist clients through virtual communication channels
- Maintain digital records and administrative documentation
- Clock calendars and meeting schedules
- Respond to general inquiries and direct requests to the appropriate department
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and correspondence
- Update CRM and internal databases with accurate information
- Support onboarding and administrative projects
- Maintain confidentiality of company and client information
- Aid with general office coordination tasks
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned
We're looking for
- A high school diploma or equivalent required
- An associate's or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- 0–2 years of experience in customer service, administration, reception, or office support
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- A high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and virtual meeting platforms
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- A professional, dependable, and customer-focused mindset
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills
Nice to have
- Experience with CRM or scheduling software
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or Google Meet
- Administrative or receptionist internship experience
- Knowledge of office procedures and customer service best practices
- Interest in office administration and operations
