About the role
The Front Desk Concierge at Fairfield Inn by Marriott Downtown SLC will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest reservations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests and assisting them with check-in and check-out procedures
- Managing guest reservations and making recommendations for local attractions and dining options
- Handling guest inquiries and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in a hospitality setting, preferably in a front desk or concierge role
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Customer service orientation and ability to handle difficult situations with composure
- Knowledge of hotel policies and procedures
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with hotel reservation systems
