Responsibilities

• Maintains proper member check-in procedures
• Responds to member questions and escalates to management if unable to resolve
• Maintains the Maintenance Log, Fitness profiles, and handles telephone inquiries and group fitness reservations
• Reports or escalates unsafe conditions or emergencies to management
• Keeps the front desk and lobby neat and clean
• Maintains retail goals and monitors progress towards them
• Contacts past due members regarding late dues and down payments
• Collaborates with maintenance and janitorial staff to address maintenance and cleanliness issues

Requirements

• Energetic personality with a friendly, outgoing demeanor and positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including telephone etiquette
• A strong customer service focus, diplomacy, and professionalism
• The ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Able to multitask and perform tasks accurately and with attention to detail
• A high school diploma or GED
• CPR/AED certification
