Each year, our team serves over 50,000 guests. Front Desk Associates create a welcoming and purposeful experience from the moment guests arrive, serving as one of the first points of contact.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate guest arrival logistics by preparing group welcome packets, issuing meal tickets, and programming electronic room keys to ensure a seamless check-in experience.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the reservation process, including providing accurate information, updating booking details, and communicating effectively with guests and relevant Conference Center departments.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by responding to inquiries, providing directions, facilitating check-ins, and relaying guest requests to appropriate teams with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Execute cashier responsibilities, including accurately receiving, processing, and reconciling guest payments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Handle lost and found management and monitor Front Desk supply inventory, ensuring organized operations and timely replenishment of materials.
  • Assist with end-of-conference procedures, including account reconciliation and billing support, to ensure accurate financial closeout.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in keyboarding and calculator use, with solid telephone etiquette and basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and guest inquiries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Customer service or hospitality experience (minimum of 6 months); or office clerical work and/or computer or cashier experience (minimum of 6 months).
  • Previous experience using SMS Host or other property management systems (preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work irregular schedules (nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, and viewing screens.
  • Availability for nights, weekends, and on-call support.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Effective communication and public relations skills.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in performing job tasks.

Pay

This position starts at $15.00 per hour. Pay may be negotiable depending on experience.

Schedule

Weekends and holidays are required.
