About the role

STEPS for Kids, a premier provider of pediatric therapy services located in Yorkville, IL, is currently seeking candidates to join our administration team as a Front Desk Associate. Part-time and full-time opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

• Greeting clients and completing the check in process for appointments
• Over-the-counter collections
• Scheduling clients and managing therapists' daily schedules
• Managing communication via phones, texts, emails and faxes
• Responding efficiently and compassionately to client and staff needs
• Coordinating with Admin team members to manage client records, intakes, and referrals
• Supporting clinical staff with various clerical duties, resource management
• Managing office supplies and equipment

Requirements

• High customer service standards with a focus on compassionate care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to all audiences
• Strong organization skills and high attention to details
• Competency with Office 365 Apps, One Drive management
• Ability to manage digital communication and file systems
• Adaptability to adjust to a dynamic and fast paced work environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a collaborative team
• Flexibility to facilitate effective problem solving
• Strong commitment to quality improvement and professional growth

About us

Founded in 2010, STEPS for Kids is a therapist owned and operated pediatric clinic providing developmental services that include occupational, physical, and speech therapy and social work. Our programs use a coordinated treatment approach that is neurodiversity affirming and trauma-informed, while focusing on play-based interventions, parent and community education, and relationships that support lifelong growth for children.
