Responsibilities
- Greet all guests, monitor and answer phones, and respond to guest needs.
- Utilize hotel systems to create and ensure seamless experiences for all guests.
- Check guests into or out of the hotel, assigning rooms according to availability or special requests.
- Cook up guest experience with all hotel departments.
- Maintain great communication and teamwork with Front Office team and other departments within the hotel.
- Process payment and provides receipts to guests.
- Answer questions about the property or the surrounding area attractions, may assist with local transportation, and creating or revising reservations.
- Aid other departments including Concierge, PBX, Guest Relations, Room Reservations.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in Front Desk role in a luxury hotel.
- In-depth understanding of Forbes Travel Guide 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond standards preferred.
- A High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task be detail oriented.
- An operational knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
