About the role

Join the team at Hampton Inn Taos, located in beautiful Taos, New Mexico. This position offers the opportunity to work in a welcoming environment surrounded by the rich culture, history, and natural beauty of the region. The hotel is conveniently situated across from the South Side Convention Center and near Central Plaza, providing easy access to local attractions, entertainment, shopping, and dining.

Responsibilities

• Handle guest complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling, and credit policies and procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments and personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Provide superior guest services, including courteous and efficient check-in/check-out.
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Provide information and services to guests and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
