Available roles

• Ghoul (Audition Required) – $18.47/hr.
• Action Ghoul / Slider (Audition Required) – $20.00/hr.
• Stilt Performer (Audition Required) – $20.00/hr.
• Aerial Ghoul (Audition Required, Multiple Interviews Required) – $20.00/hr.

Responsibilities

• Performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as fictional, dark characters startling and entertaining park guests with great enthusiasm and animation.
• For Stilt Performer: meeting, greeting, and entertaining park guests with enthusiasm and animation, plus performing specific choreographed movements during parades.
• For Aerial Ghoul: performing in haunted attractions or in haunted scare zones as fictional characters using stunt rigging to startle and entertain park guests with great enthusiasm and high animations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to carry and wear 5 to 20 pounds of costume weight.
• Must be able to work in crowds, heat, cold, tight and dark surroundings for long periods of time.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, and rain.
• Must be able to perform in an enclosed costume, having limited sight lines if applicable.
• Must be able to work and attend rehearsals that include a variety of shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays relating to this short-term position for this specific event.
• Have a good attitude and participate as a member of the team.

Qualifications

• For Stilt Performer: dance or gymnastic background preferred; willing to train persons with athletic background. Must be physically fit. Absolutely must have a positive, can-do attitude and love creating FUN experiences. Must be comfortable with heights up to 48".
• For Aerial Ghoul: must be able to wear fall protection harnesses for long periods of time.
