Fresh Sales Specialist

About the role

Grow same store sales by working with store owners, directors, and managers. Educate retailers on AWG programs and help them use them effectively. Implement department initiatives to support Fresh Sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with store owners, directors, and staff through regular store calls.
• Work with the procurement department and stores to implement special sales events.
• Aid in the execution of events to boost same store sales.
• Collaborate with the Fresh Sales Manager to develop department initiatives and sales plans.
• Assist stores with resets, remodels, store tagging, and ad writing.
• Support stores with customer issues and employee training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years of retail experience in Produce, Meat, Deli, or Bakery.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Skills

• Understanding of the retail business.
• Experience with Meat/Seafood.
• Some experience in Produce and/or Deli.
