Fresh Pasta Sales Associate
Job Description
The Fresh Pasta Artisan & Salesperson has expertise on products and processes at a minimum of two retail stations at an Eataly. An Artisan shares knowledge about products and ingredients with guests and recommends products and portion sizes. Reports to the Fresh Market Manager.
- Affords assistance to retail counters with daily operations as needed to ensure counters are running smoothly
- Maintains retail supplies in stock and utilized properly at all stations
- Slices, weighs, labels, displays, sells and packages products per department standards and guest specifications
- Provides a steady presence on the floor, constantly interacting with guests, employees, vendors and visitors
- Performs other duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in food service
- Strong knowledge of steps of service
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Italian products
Job Requirements
- Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule sometimes including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $18 - $19 per hour.
